UPDATE

Dear InnoStars and RIS Hub friends,

We are currently facing the busiest part of the year. All of us are working on the successful conclusion of 2018 activities and we are also preparing for the Summit, which is the biggest EIT Health event of the year. We are very proud to host the EIT Health community in Łódź on 4–5 December. Our Polish colleagues and Partners have been working on this project for months so I am sure it will be an outstanding event.

Fortunately, we can report several success stories from the past few weeks as well. We organised the joint Grand Final Event of our start-up competitions and Cross-KIC Idea Bootcamp in Budapest, where we awarded the most promising ideas and projects. In the meantime, 13 start-ups had the opportunity to meet Chinese investors in Shenzhen as part of the Go2China project. Finally, I would like to proudly announce that the winning team of the first EIT Health Wild Card competition is hosted and incubated by Instituto Pedro Nunes.

I really hope we can highlight even more success stories in our next newsletter.

I am looking forward to meeting you in Łódź next week!

With best regards,

Balazs Furjes | Managing Director EIT Health InnoStars
