Making a Difference this Christmas Season

There isn't long left to celebrate a loved one on The Remembering Tree.

Find out more below, on how to dedicate a square, bauble or star on our knitted tree, to someone special this Christmas.

But first, we want to tell you why we think your support and your donations are so important and exactly how they make a difference...
Do you remember Philani?
Philani's story is an example of how your donations can really have a huge impact.

Philani first arrived at the 1000 Hills Community Centre after losing both his parents who were murdered in their home. Life without parents is a sad reality for many children in South Africa.

Philani arrived severely malnourished, underweight and in very poor health.

Within just a few weeks at the centre, Philani was gaining weight and absolutely fell in love with his teacher and class mates.

Philani recently enjoyed his 3rd birthday and you can see the celebrations in a short video here. We hope he had a really happy day - it certainly looks like it!

There's not long left...

With just under a week to go until our deadline for The Remembering Tree, you have just a few days left to remember or celebrate a loved one, or show that special someone that you care.
Christmas is a time for celebration and charity. Why not show someone that you're thinking of them by donating to the Remembering Tree?
You'll receive a card in the post showing your dedication. The names will also be published on our website.  All funds raised from The Remembering Tree contribute to our work in Africa, supporting children like Philani whose story you'll see below.

Our closing date is 10th December.
