Graduate Housing topped out

Our new graduate housing 'topped out'

With the final piece of copper roofing put into place, our new three new graduate houses were 'topped out' last month, marking the completion of the structures. The development, financed mainly by alumni donations, comprises 30 en-suite student rooms and five studio flats, enabling College to offer housing for all of its graduate students on-site for at least two years of study. Two of the houses will be named after former Masters Sir David Wallace and Sir John Boyd.

We would be extremely grateful for further donations towards the cost of furnishing the accommodation ready for the first residents in autumn.

Churchill Business Network

Churchill Business Network

On 14 November we held another fantastically successful evening in our Churchill Business Network series, this time with alumni John Sawtell (U91), Jaini Patel (U93) and Michael Cowan (U70) taking questions from the audience about the finance sector. There was plenty of time for networking in the stunning surroundings of the Oxford and Cambridge Club on Pall Mall. We are planning our next event in the series for next spring. Email us if you'd like to be added to the mailing list when details are announced.

Calling all Churchill Sixth Form Visitors Scheme alumni

Years ago the College had a scheme whereby Sixth Form pupils stayed at Churchill for a couple of days, hosted by an undergrad, going to lectures, and getting a taste of Cambridge University life. For many it led to an application for a place at Churchill. We'd like to build a list of people who benefited from the scheme, to hear their recollections, and maybe plan a get-together.
