Here's some ways you can get involved this holiday weekend.

Baptisms

Anyone who has made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior is eligible to be baptized. Baptism is an act of obedience to Christ. Baptism does not give you salvation, but it is one way to publicly tell others about your salvation, because it identifies you with Jesus. We will have baptisms during every service Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, November 25.  It isn't too late to register, click here.

Winter Coat Collection

Hang your donated (new or gently used) coats on the rolling rack in our Season of Serving Lobby, located across from the Nursery.  By donating, you will help ensure warmth this season for the men, women & children residents of East Meadows SAHA complex, through HIS Bridge Builders.

Men's Socks + Underwear Collection

Help us provide NEW underwear and socks for the MEN residing at Haven for Hope. Underwear and socks must be white. Drop off your donations in the Collection Bins labeled “Haven for Hope” at any Main Entrance. NEW donations ONLY, please. Care & Support

Mental Health - There Is Help

Do you or someone you love live with symptoms of a mental health disorder such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar or OCD? Did you know that support groups are available to you right here at CBC? There are four different types of groups on Tuesdays at 6:30pm to offer support and encouragement in a faith environment. All groups are small and confidential. Click here for more information or contact our Director of Mental Health Groups, Denise Espino, if you need individualized assistance.

DivorceCare

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Groups will begin meeting Tuesdays at 6:30pm on January 15, 2019. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Contact careandsupport@cbc.email for more information.

Missions

2019 MISSION TRIPS

Do you have a desire to serve the Lord in another country and with a people group unlike your own? The CBC Missions program is ready to help you take a step of faith to go and serve with a short-term missions team. Each team will assist a faith-based organization who is working with an indigenous people group through the local church.  Join us for one of these many amazing mission trips we have planned for next year! We will be traveling to countries such as Spain, Israel, Uganda, Peru, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Kenya and so many more!
