SUNDAY, December 2, 2018
10:00 Forum -“Guest at Your Table - Justice Across Borders.” Thousands of Central Americans are fleeing violence in their home countries and making the dangerous journey north. At this forum we will “meet” real people impacted by human rights issues and grassroots leaders who make a difference – all supported by your donations to the UU Service Committee Guest At Your Table program, the recipient of the December 9 Split-plate offering. Krolfifer
11:00 Worship Service - “A Humanist's Search for the Holy." Sometimes my humanist theology leaves me with no explanation for the mystery in life. How do we learn to love the mystical?
GREETERS: Greg Terhune, Matt Cowperthwait, Laura Bange, David Roth
WELCOME TABLE: John Kachuba, Barbara Tonne, Chase Tonne, Anne Skove
COFFEE HOUR: Alicia Rosselot, Michelle Rathbun
SOUND TECHNICIAN: Dirk Iwema

Children & Youth Religious Education Program:
For Sunday, December 2:

- All other children and youth begin in worship and will be escorted by teachers to ROSA PARKS (downstairs) when sung out. *Note the change of room.*

Parents, if your child is joining us in Rosa Parks, and is in 4th grade or younger, please pick up your child after the service in Rosa Parks and check out directly with the RE Coordinator, Ashleigh Rhodes.

Children (and adults!) can wear costumes from home - animals of all sorts, angels, shepherds, wise men, fairies… as they say, dress for the job you want! We will have costumes available at church as well.
Parents Group - Holiday Craft
Saturday, December 15, 9:30-11am, Rosa Parks
Come socialize with other parents of young ones! We will have a holiday craft appropriate for preschoolers, but young kids are welcome to just play.
Meet the RE Coordinator and Soul Matters Curriculum Brunch
Sunday, December 16, 10am, Rosa Parks
The RE Committee will provide brunch, and an opportunity to discuss plans for the RE program for January through June, including an introduction to the Soul Matters Curriculum. All parents, teachers, and volunteers are invited. Please RSVP with the number of adults and kids so we can have enough food, and activities for the kids.
