Did You Know?

This "Did You Know?" feature usually sits toward the end of our newsletter, but we wanted it to be front and center this month, because it involves you. Yes, YOU.

Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective receives funding from different sources: tuition, grants, sponsorships, and individual donations.  Most of our income is earned from tuition, which goes directly toward paying our teachers and helps cover the cost of expenses like rent and office supplies. In short: tuition helps us keep our organization running.

How can we grow?

Every dollar we receive from donations, sponsorships, and grants goes toward strengthening and growing our organization beyond its current capacity so we can build a more diverse and sustainable performing arts community. We'll be honest, sponsorships and grants are a very small percentage of our income. That means that the majority of funding that allows us to deepen our programmatic roots and improve our outreach and studio offerings comes from donations. Donations from individuals like you, who are part of the Collective and believe in our mission, are responsible for our growth.

So, thank you for that $5, that $25, that $500. Your generosity, that hard-earned income that you've so graciously chosen to share with us, has not gone unnoticed.

You are the reason.
  • You are the reason we are able to offer intergenerational music groups at Harvest Homes, Assumption Village, and Bridge Meadows.
  • You are the reason we have been able to help Roosevelt High School begin to rebuild their choir program.
  • You are the reason over 300 students were granted scholarships at CPPAC this past year.
  • You are the reason we have a Young Artist Program to develop the musical, theatrical, and career readiness skills of our young community artists.
  • You are the reason we have filled the St. Johns community with over 20 performances throughout the year, reaching over 1,400 audience members
  • You are the reason Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective has been a successful community arts project!
  • You are the reason we are able to support a sense of belonging in our community.

Thank YOU.

Your CPPAC Directors,

Audrey, Cristina, Joseph, Tiso, and Noelle

As part of the St. Johns Intergenerational Project at Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective, this group is intended for musicians and music-lovers of ALL AGES and ALL SKILL LEVELS. Emphasis will be placed on listening and creating music as a group, complimenting, harmonizing, and soloing with a large group.

#GivingTuesday for RHS Singers

Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared our fundraiser since #GivingTuesday! Since November 27, you have helped us raise $905 toward our $2,500 goal, and we're only ONE WEEK IN. All donations we receive from November 27-December 31 will go toward building and sustaining a choral program at Roosevelt High School.

Anyone can help by donating, sharing, or simply talking about RHS Singers and the fundraiser with co-workers, friends, and family. Financial contributions can be made in the following ways:
