This tournament series, titled "Close Encounters of the Pin Kind" is geared towards people of all skills levels so even if you have just a basic understanding of pinball this tournament will not leave you feeling defeated (even if you end up dead last).  Us owners (Christian & Elisabeth) got started in competitive play in tournaments just like this one; in fact Ruxxel and Shaxxon who led our first tournament experiences will lead this series!  And for that we are eternally honored and are also confident you'll have a great time.  

We always say: "The best way to improve your pinball game is to play against better players".  And the pinball community in San Francisco (and in general) are super supportive of each other and generous with their knowledge.

These tournaments will also feature a range of different approaches to competitive play so it will be a ton of fun and a new way to enjoy the game.

Also: Prizes!!  Outer Orbit will be handing out little mystery prizes here and there like "Free Musubi for the last place finisher in round 3".  And that $5 entry fee?  All of the collected entry fees are distributed to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finalists.
