How is your Christmas to do list? Are you getting ready and excited for Christmas, or are you feeling frazzled and overwhelmed? Christmas can feel exhausting, but each year, without fail, the Christmas services are my biggest joy. We come together as a church family and celebrate together the birth of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Christmas events are rapidly approaching. To make them a highlight again we need your help:
Please invite your friends, family, neighbours to come along. All of our Christmas services are for all people, regardless of whether they come to church or not.
And, most importantly of all, please pray! Pray the events work well logistically. Pray people come. And pray people will understand the great joy of Christmas in a new, and real, way.
Sunday 9th December 4pm – All Age Nativity – Everyone who wants a part is guaranteed a role – last year we had babies to granddads dressed up! A great event for all the family.(you don’t have to take part, but the option is there for you) – ideally as a shepherd, wise man (king) or angel, but we will try and incorporate any character into the Christmas story! Bring a choir of angels with you if you can!
Sunday 16th December 4pm – Carols by (some) candlelight – Traditional service of lessons and carols – the youth centre can actually look Christmassy! We're hoping that Glen, like last year, will be leading a full brass section of brilliant musicians from the Welsh Guards
Sunday 23rd December 4pm – Christingle - for all the family, from the youngest to the oldest - join us as we make our Christingles oranges and think about the significance of each part
Tuesday 25th December 10am – Christmas Day Celebration – Our house 6 Hunters Mews, Alma Road, Windsor, SL4 3SL. If in Windsor, please join the church family in celebrating the birth of our Saviour.
