Have Your Say

It's time to share your thoughts on this year's Dried Fruits Australia and Hort Innovation-funded events.

Anyone who has attended a workshop is invited to tell us what they thought of the information and if they have been able to make use of it in their business. Your feedback will help us report on what we have achieved this year and give us clear direction for next year's events.

Join us for a discussion session at the DFA office from 5pm on Thursday 6 December. We will finish with a few refreshments.

If you can make it, contact us on 03 5023 5174 or at projects@driedfruitsaustralia.org.au.

Can't remember which events you attended this year? Here's a list:

  • Dehydration workshop (Merbein; April)
  • Sunbeam factory tour and seasonal labour workshop (Irymple; June)
  • Water trading discussion (Mildura; July)
  • Pruning workshop (Swan Hill; July)
  • Farm biosecurity and criminal security workshop (Red Cliffs; August)
  • Farm business planning workshop (Pomona; September)
  • Spray application workshop (Irymple; November)
  • Irrigation and vineyard cooling workshop (Loxton; November)
  • Annual grower forum (Mildura; November)

Sticky Beak Mystery Tour

Our last event for 2018 will be a tour of selected sites in the DFA benchmarking project.

We will see what the crop looks like and discuss how the vines have been managed. If you are keen to come along for a sticky beak and make comparisons with your property, let us know.

The tour will kick off at 2pm on Thursday 20 December and finish with a barbecue at our last location. We haven't confirmed which sites we will visit yet, so please get in touch if there's something specific you want to look at.

Contact us on 03 5023 5174 or email Stuart at projects@driedfruitsaustralia.org.au.
