Dinner and a Meeting on Sunday December 16th

On Sunday December 16th, 2018 we are having our annual Colorado CoDA Holiday event, called “Dinner and a Meeting”. It is a potluck gathering of food, fun, fellowship, and hope in recovery.

The event is a NON-TRADITIONAL CoDA meeting format
We ask everyone to come early and bring a favorite Holiday dish, treat, or snack. Then we all sit down and to a CoDA meeting while enjoying our dinner.

The Preamble and Welcome will be read
We will go around and introduce ourselves
Then we will have positive, hopeful sharing and discussion

After the meeting we will enjoy deserts, and more fellowship.

The Sunday Evening Denver Ascent meeting does this every year and it is an opportunity to work Step 12 and practice service work in a safe environment.

Where: Denver Ascent CoDA Group 2465 South Downing (downstairs in room 103) (MAP)
When: Sunday, December 16th 6 PM – but please come early and stay late for lots of fellowship - in the safety of a CoDA meeting environment.

The Colorado CoDA delegates have provided a report on the 2018 CSC. you can read it at https://www.coloradocoda.org/delegate. There is some new literature coming, and simple change to the CoDA Welcome.

Open Service Opportunities

Special events is looking for people to help form a party planning committee. Please feel free to contact Ruth Ann if you are interested in joining at: rao3cats@yahoo.com.
