Warmest Wishes for a safe & happy Holiday Season Sharing the joy of family and friends, and good food!
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your President. We have been blessed with an excellent team of board members who are always very willing to devote their time to keep our neighborhood a great place to call home.
This year our Fourth of July and National Night Out turn outs were a huge success with our favorite clown and food trucks……a great opportunity to mingle with neighbors. Sadly our Fall Members Meeting (BBQ Potluck) was not a big success. It was not well attended due to all the rain or being on a Saturday. Guest speakers were from the City Library and Code Enforcement. The library offers so much for the entire age group.
We meet with the city officials on a regular basis to communicate and prioritize issues that are important to our neighborhood and to learn about new City plans that impact our area. Our social events were a great success, the beautification program is much appreciated and our crime watch / crime prevention team is very active. These are just some of the benefits we as an all-volunteer team accomplish for our neighborhood.
Our membership is way down and this is concerning. Please consider what our association does and please support us in our mission….. we want to ensure that our City officials provide enhanced police presence, frequent traffic patrols, comply with our agreement on traffic counts, allocate more funds for street, alley and park improvements. Please join and do attend our social events during the year. Thanks to the dedicated hard work by our association, we make every effort to keep our neighborhood a safe, peaceful, beautiful and a friendly place to call home ! With your support, we can accomplish more. The City does pay more attention to larger associations. A larger membership does help.
This holiday season, we have so much to be thankful for, Yasmin and I wish you a memorable and a wonderful holiday season.
