President's Letter

Dear Members of the Event Coordinators' Network,

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, and you are almost ready for the holiday break (which will certainly be here before we know it)!

! want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for an amazing year with the Event Coordinators' Network. It has been a great pleasure serving as this year's president, and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and working with all of you. I hope that you all have had a great year with the ECN as well!

As we close out this fall semester, I wish you all the best of luck with the rest of your events and meetings. I also want to wish you, your family, and your friends a wonderful holiday season and a very happy new year!

Event Volunteer Opportunities
Submissions are now being accepted for the annual Earth Day Design Contest. The contest is open to all Georgia Tech students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees. One winner will be selected to receive the $500 prize, and the winning design will be featured on the Earth Day 2019 T-shirts and marketing materials. Additionally, volunteers are needed to serve on the Earth Day Planning Committee! Contact Cindy Jackson for more information.

 

The 2019 Regional Science Olympiad tournament will be held on Saturday, February 23, on Georgia Tech's campus. Tiarra Moore of CEISMC (Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics & Computing) is looking for event volunteers to help staff this amazing youth competition that showcases innovative science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This is a great way to give back to Tech and also to make an impact on the future generation of Tech students! If you can lend your skills to help at this event sign up here.
