This Saturday, Dec. 8th at 10am is our event with Jan Brett at Columbia Center for the Arts. We have sold out of the presentation tickets, but we have plenty of book signing tickets available. The book signing tickets allow you to meet Jan, have a photo taken with Jan and get your books signed. The tickets are $3.00 each and proceeds benefit Columbia Center for the Arts. A reminder for presentation ticket holders: Please arrive by 9:30am so we get everyone seated and start on time at 10:00am. Jan is on a tight time schedule for this event since she has to travel to Portland for another event immediately after our book signing.
Holiday Giving Lights: Purchase Books for Local School Libraries
Holiday Giving Lights is a new program at Waucoma. We asked local school libraries for book wish lists. We created book cards from their wish lists and hung them on lights on our front counter. You can purchase books for local schools by selecting a book card and we'll take care of the rest. We are putting book plates in all the books with each donor's name and the books will be delivered to the schools in January.
