10 YEARS ON STAFF WITH FCA!!
On October 1st I completed 10 YEARS on staff with FCA! It has been pretty crazy to look back on the past 10 years and reflect on all the ministry the Lord has allowed me to be a part of on the Central Coast and around the world. We have seen FCA grow from 1 to 23 huddles on the central coast and seen hundreds of students and coaches come to Christ through outreach events, sports camps and ongoing huddle ministry.
I have had the opportunity to train leaders and help run sports camps with FCA in 13 countries now, like Egypt, India, South Korea, China, Pakistan, etc. Although there have been hardships and victories, the Lord has been faithful every step of the way. I am extremely thankful for all the faithful prayer and support partners who have enabled me to serve with FCA this long and can't for what the Lord has ahead for the next decade.

Huddles are going well on campus and Chris and Olivia have been doing a great job working with this year group of student leaders and adult volunteers. I enjoyed getting to speak at AG High School and St. Joe's recently and Katie is continuing to disciple college girls at Cal Poly.

NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS - Oscar's Story
We had two very fruitful Night of Champions events this year at Arroyo Grande High and Atascadero High School. Between the two events we had 505 students in attendance and 18 students made a first time commitment to follow Christ. PLEASE take a moment to watch the video above of Oscar Velasco story and the impact FCA has had in his life. Oscar has been involved with FCA ever since he gave his life to Christ in 2011 at the FCA Camp at UCLA. He was one of the many powerful student testimonies at Night of Champions, and it is awesome to see how God has moved in his life!

CAL POLY FCAIA
Above is a picture from our recent Thanksgiving event with the college athletes at Cal Poly. We had a little bit of a slower start this year than last year, but it is exciting to see all the returning and new athletes the Lord has brought into the group. Two of our leaders in the football Bible study are battling injuries, so please keep Colin and Harry in your prayers. Our partnership with AIA at Cal Poly is continuing to go really well and we are excited for the rest of the school year.

BARNABAS SUMMIT
I recently got to speak at the Barnabas Summit to parents and Christian business leaders about the ministry and opportunities to serve with FCA. We are seeking to recruit more parents to adopt our campus huddles and help the ministry thrive on campus in ways it can't with out them. We are also looking for leaders to help us develop a clear strategy to create more awareness and engage more families in our area with the ministry.

WEEKS WEDDING
I officiated my first wedding in October for our good friends Kevin & Megan Weeks. I've had the chance to disciple Kevin over the past two years and it was a really special to be a part of their big day.

FAMILY UPDATE
For the first time since we have been married, we get to spend time with Katie's family for Thanksgiving. Isaac is getting much more vocal now, and we are having fun discussing possible baby names for little boy #2. Please keep Katie and the baby's health in your prayers.
