We will be closed Thanksgiving Day. 

Our team did not disappoint in La Jolla! We had Junior Paddlers in all three courses: Grom Race (1.5 mile), Short Course (4 mile), Long Course (9 mile). 

There was a bit of a shore break, however every NAC Paddler got through safely and quickly!
Once everyone got out past the break, it was a smooth race in the open ocean. They started off right in front of the beach at La Jolla Shores, paddled up the coast and turned around to race back down. 

This race was a great example of team work and support from all of our paddlers for each other. We are looking forward to getting more training on the water and getting ready for that next race: Dec 9, 2017 at Fiesta Island. 

Newport Aquatic Center Fares Well at San Diego Fall Classic

The Newport Aquatic Center Junior Rowing program traveled to Mission Bay to compete at the San Diego Fall Classic to test their early season speed against teams from up and down the West Coast. 

The results were a great indication that the NAC Junior Rowing program continues to be amongst the best in the nation and is looking forward to their next competition at the Long Beach Christmas Regatta in December.
