1. 2017 Fall Session Concert
At the end of every session, we present a concert of all ONHB bands to share some of the pieces we have been working on over the term. We are very pleased to announce that our concert on December 10 will be held at the Brookfield High School auditorium from 2 - 4:15 pm, followed by refreshments. Note that the concert begins at 2 pm, which is earlier than previous Sunday concerts. Please click here to find a poster that you can share with family and friends.
Warm up rooms will be available beginning at 12:30. Ensemble warm ups will be as follows:

Other concerts you may wish to note in your calendars are the Spring Concert at Woodroffe United Church on Sunday, April 15 (time to be confirmed), and the end of session concert for our Spring Extension Concert Band and Ireland Band on June 12, 2018. Details for both concerts to follow.
2. Registration for Winter Session
Registration for the winter 2018 session will open soon. Current and past ONHB musicians are invited to register for the Winter session starting Dec 1. New members will be invited to register from December 11 until January 4, or until bands reach capacity. After January 4 band lists will be made up and distributed to band leaders. You are encouraged to register early - on December 1, the registration form will be found here.
3. New Beginner Jazz Band
We have much good news to share! On the 10th anniversary of Ottawa New Horizons Band, there will be a new jazz band (called Jumpin’ Jazz Band) starting on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Brookfield High School. It is intended for musicians with a year or more on their instruments who have mastered Book 1 of Essential Elements and are ready to “jump in” to jazz.
