Join us for the Holiday Train!
Church of the Resurrection will be joining Our Savior's Lutheran Church in providing music before the arrival of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train in Hartland on Sunday, Dec. 3. Our children's handbell choir, Joyful Praise, will be bringing along chimes and books of Christmas carols, and we invite anyone to join us--no musical experience or practice required. There's no music to read--just words of familiar Christmas carols and markings where the bells need to be played.
We will meet at church at 4:30 p.m. for those who want to carpool. (Be sure to bring along a donation for the food pantry.) Then, we'll head on over to the intersection of Cottonwood and Pawling avenues at 4:45 p.m., where there will be a lighted tent for us. Once we set up with the folks from Our Savior's, we'll start singing and playing until the train arrives at approximately 5:45. Then, we'll stop playing and enjoy the entertainment from the train until about 6:30 p.m. If you want to join us, please e-mail Beth Earnest at earnestbeth@gmail.com. Times are subject to change, and we want to make sure you're in the loop.
