Local Hero Award
- 10 Books A Home (10BH) founder, Paul Thiebaut III, and 10BH have been selected for the local hero award in the Palo Alto Area.
- It will include a TV segment, press release, youtube video, and a speech (we will record it and send out).
- Everything will air in May 2018.
SJ Mercury News Wish Book - POWERFUL STORY!
- We'll be in newsstands throughout the Bay Area on Thanksgiving.
- We'll also be featured online and in a video that you will be able access on the Wish Book website on Thanksgiving.
- We're asking readers to donate $50,000, the most any org has asked for. We set the record 3 years ago by asking for $25,000 (and, received it), so thought we would try to break our own record! :)
49ers - My Cause My Cleats
- We're unboxing the 10BH cleats next week - photo of cleats forthcoming.
- ESPN is airing a story on 10BH next week.
- #94 Solomon Thomas will wear the 10BH cleats during his game against the Chicago Bears on December 3.
- Solomon will auction off the cleats after the game.
Going Int'l- Global Entrepreneurship Summit
- One of our advisors, Kurtis Kludt, will be attending the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India representing 10 Books A Home as a venture partner of Silicon Valley Real Ventures.
- He is going to meet with 300 investors and 1200 entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs from around the world, including a US delegation.
- He hopes to promote and help plant the seed for future global scalability of 10 Books A Home.
