The group is for any child on the SEN Register who is in School Years 6 -13. We welcome all types of SEN, and have a great group of parent volunteers who run the group each week.
.
The Youth Group is held in John of Gaunt Youth Club every Tuesday night (term time) from 6.30 - 8.30pm. There is a chill out room, X Box, Crafts and we all make full use of our outside area by playing dodge ball, having water fights, rounders and now there is Air Hockey!!

Entrance is £1.00 per child. There is also a tuck shop open where crisps, sweets and drinks can be purchased.

Would you like to help?  We are looking for new volunteers to join us to help run the club, it doesn't have to be every week, but any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Just drop in or contact us on Facebook if you would like to know more:)

Our last Youth Group of 2017 is on Tuesday 19th December

Join our Facebook Group to find out what's on each week, and for more information about volunteering. Click HERE to be taken straight to the FB Page

Come and create your very own lantern for the Lantern Procession.

Work with professional Lantern-makers to create a traditional pyramid Lantern out of willow and paper, to carry in our Festival of Light procession!

We had around 250 people join us for these workshops last year, and we'd love to see more! These workshops are a great chance to get really involved in one of our biggest annual events, so come along and join in with the creative fun. You'll also receive an invitation to the Parade and instructions on how to further decorate your Lantern at home if you would like.

Lanterns take between 1 and 2 hours to make, and we ask that you are able to take your Lantern away with you at the end of the workshop as we are unable to store them. Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult, and it is recommended that you dress for mess.

Dates and Times:

Sat 25 Nov, 10am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm | The Waterside Centre, Newbury

Sat 2 Dec, 10am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm | 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space, Greenham Business Park

Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult, and bring an old t-shirt as you may get messy!
