Happy Thanksgiving!

As Lorelei and I begin this week, where our nation pauses and takes a day to give thanks, we want you to know how very thankful for you!  Each of our newsletter subscribers and prayer partners is a gift.  God has continued to direct us to men who are interested in starting MTS in their state capitols.  Last newsletter we shared that we were talking with someone for Austin, TX.  We were deeply disappointed that things didn't work out for that candidate.  We ask you to continue to pray for God to lead us to the one whom the Lord has called to start MTS in Texas.  We are currently working on possible MTS ministers for Alabama, Mississippi or Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.  Continue to pray that the Lord will lead us to those who are called to join MTS.

In late summer, the director of MTS (Chuck Garriott) and I discussed our fall plans.  Lorelei and I will be moving to the Fayetteville, GA area in the spring of 2018.  This move will cut down on ministry expenses a great deal.  Because of this upcoming move Chuck and I wanted our near-term efforts to be focused on the Northeast.  I can travel by car to most of these states from Virginia.  We contacted each presbytery in Virginia and northward, receiving multiple invitations to address them as they meet. It has been wonderful meeting these presbyteries and speaking about our vision for MTS.  God is richly blessing these meetings.  There are lots of questions and enthusiasm for ministry to those in politics.  For those whom we have recently added to this Newsletter from these visits – Thank You for your interest in our ministry, and we ask that you keep us in your prayers.

Specific prayer requests:
Please continue to pray for your politicians. They need the transforming power of the Gospel in their lives. Continue lifting up the Please pray with us, thanking God for the continued indolence of Thomas’ Follicular Lymphoma, and our efforts to get and stay as healthy as possible. Please pray for our oldest son, who is finishing up his IT degree at George Mason University, and looking for work, and our youngest, a game environment artist, who is moving in January in hopes of bettering his employment prospects.  Pray for our visits to Presbyteries and Churches and our efforts to develop MTS in state capitols.

How you can partner with us:  First and most important for Lorelei and I is your prayers.  Ask God specifically to lead us to those who will start MTS in state capitals.  You can also assist by considering the ministers you know.  One of them may be just right for this ministry.  Speak to them and if they are interested have them contact us.  Lastly, if you are able, become one of our financial supporters.
