HOLIDAY MESSAGE SERIES begins tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 26.  We’ll celebrate by kicking off the season with our Hanging of the Greens during both services.  After a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, you’re sure to have extra sweets, like pies, cakes, and cookies, around the house.  Bring them with you tomorrow and we’ll share desserts while decorating our worship spaces during our worship services.  In addition, you are encouraged to bring a thermos of Wassail, delicious hot spiced cider, to share.  Don’t forget to “Dress to Un-Stress” each Sunday through Christmas (pick up flyer for details or see attached list below).

STAY INFORMED!  We have lots of activities planned for the Advent and Christmas season. To help you keep up-to-date on activities and events happening here at B'Moreattached is a list for your reference.  We’ll continue to share more information in our weekly eNews, social media, and our website.

LET IT BE, CHRISTMAS opening night is THIS Wednesday, NOV. 29 at B’More.  Show starts at 7:30pm.  (Light refreshments will be provided in the Events Center following the performance.)  Experience this contemporary rendition of the beloved Nativity story beautifully told through the Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, George and RingoI  Travel with Mary and Joseph down the “Long and Winding Road” to Bethlehem while savoring dozens of classic Beatles hits.  This entertaining Christmas event profoundly reminds us that  - “All You Needs Is Love.”  This is a great evangelism opportunity.  All proceeds go to Eliada Home.

HAVE YOU FOUND YOUR PEEPS?

BUMC’s Small Groups can help

Who are your peeps? Would you recognize them right away? Small groups enable us to
find support, encouragement, and accountability with a set of like-minded folk. We may
match up with each other on many levels, we may discover surprising commonalities, or
we may develop deep trust despite our differences. What we always find is God’s Spirit,
dwelling within us all, reaching out to enrich each other’s lives. If you haven’t found a
group yet, please visit some of the ones we have going. We are also looking to form at
least one new group before the end of the year. Do you have an idea for that one?
Check out the groups here or let Anita know of your interest:

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!?!
We probably all prefer to enjoy each special occasion as it comes, but this year we need to plan a little Christmas now, even before Thanksgiving (so sorry!).  SART is performing Sander’s Family Christmas, part 2 of the Smoke on the Mountain Trilogy.

Performances will run 2 weeks, Dec. 14-23. Thursday- Saturday at 7:30pm, and matinees on both Saturdays and Sunday at 2:30pm.  Tickets are $25 (with taxes and fee), and $20 for groups of 10 or more (with taxes and fee).  We are hoping to go as a group to the only Sunday matinee, which is on Dec. 17, at 2:30pm.  (Gerry and Margaret are driving the van for us!)  Tickets are on sale already and are going quickly for this first weekend.  If we are going to buy group tickets, Anita needs to hear from you now.  Of course, we can all choose our own time to go and purchase our tickets at www.sartplays.org. Hopefully, though, we can enjoy the play together on Dec. 17.  Please let Anita know if you are interested, so a group rate can be reserved.  Merry Thanksoweenmas!
