The glorious end of 2017

In the beginning of this year I said this might be my last year of performing. Now, towards the end of 2017 I'm so busy with so many interesting things that I just cannot stop. So, here's some of what's happening. (Sorry if this is mostly about myself <:-)

Three days at Plugged Records in Stockholm - Do come, we will play some really good music!

BKSS had a lovely tour of South Korea in October, here is a rare chance to hear us.

Friday 24/11 19.00 BKS featuring Thomas Gustafsson
When did you last hear the unpredictable Thomas Gustafsson live? Hear his meeting with radar sax partner Jonas Knutsson and Christian Spering

Saturday 25/11 13.00 Beches Brew West Coast Edition
For some inexplicable reason (probably envy) Stockholm rarely invites the Gothenburg greats but here is your chance to hear Thomas Gustafsson, Stefan Bellnäs, Livet Nord, Sir Thomas Jäderlund and Göran Klinghagen jumping at one o'clock this saturday in the West Coast edition of Beches Brew.

Plugged Records is located at Stora Nygatan 45 in The Old Town, T-Gamla Stan.

Nicolai Dunger m.fl. - Don't miss it, its unique!

A very strong reason for my happiness and desire to keep playing is the pleasure of making music with the intense musician-poet Nicolai Dunger and the crazy band with the multidimensional Bebe Risenfors on keys and winds, His Heaviness Nikke Ström on bass and Guitar Messaias Thomas Tjärnkvist. We played a lot during the fall and there will be a few more concerts before Christmas:
November 25 at Nefertiti in Gothenburg
December 1 at Elverket in Stockholm
December 7 at Under Bron in Stockholm
December 8 at Folk & Rock in Malmö and
December 9 at Bryggekælderen, Copenhagen

From December 1 you can hear one Christmas song a day at the Country & Eastern site!

December 17 - off to India, deserting the winter.

First we go to Chennai to meet and listen to friends like Karaikudi Mani, Akkarai Sisters, Jayachandra Rao, Shreesundarkumar and other maestros during the The Season's multitude of concerts. Then New Year's in Varkala and finally Mumbai for meetings with Bahauddin Dagar (about some sensational Country & Eastern releases next year!) and a grand get-together with the Gurubhandus, pictured below, celebrating our teacher Pandit Taranath

While we are away, have a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year and do keep yourself busy at our site countryandeastern.se and my own beche.se
