Liebe Inner Circle Members,
ich möchte Euch über meine letzten Wochen auf dem Laufenden halten, es war so viel loss, Wahnsinn!! Wir sind quer durchs Land gefahren: zunächst hat mein Trio beim 10. Bühler Jazztival gespielt, ein wunderbarer Abend auf einer fantastischen Bühne - ein krasser Konzertsaal, den sie dort in Bühl haben. Berühmt ist der Ort eigentlich für seine Zwetschgen. Das Publikum war unglaublich und am CD Stand nach unserem Konzert gab es wirklich ganz besondere Gespräche mit meinem Publikum. Für solche Momente bin ich extrem dankbar und glücklich.

Unsere Reise ging weiter nach Leverkusen, dort hatte ich Anfang des Jahres bereits solo gespielt, jetzt war ich da mit meiner Quartett-besetzung. Sonntags früh um 11 Uhr ein Konzert zu spielen, ist nicht unbedingt die leichteste Aufgabe, aber vor ausverkauftem Haus und hoch konzentrierter Atmosphäre sind magische Momente passiert.
Vor drei Tagen war ich dann für ein Solokonzert zu Gast in Neumünster. Dieser Ort ist mir inzwischen mehr als vertraut. Es war bereits das vierte Mal, dass ich eingeladen wurde, aber zum ersten mal habe ich ein komplettes Solokonzert mit 2 Sets gegeben. Ich liebe diese Soloausflüge, auch wenn sie körperlich für mich das anstrengende Programm meiner Projekte darstellen. Auch hier gab es fantastische Gespräche und besondere Emotionen nach dem Konzert. Und zum Abschluss des Abends eine Runde am Pooltisch im Hotel.

Dear Inner Circle Members,
I want to give you some updates about my last weeks, it was so much going on, madness! We drove across the country: first of all, my trio played at the 10th Buhler Jazz Festival, a wonderful evening on a fantastic stage - a stunning concert hall they have there in Bühl. The place is originally famous for its plums. The audience was unbelievable and at the CD table after our concert there were really special conversations with my audience. I am extremely grateful and happy for such moments.

Our journey went on to Leverkusen, where I had already played solo at the beginning of the year, now I was there with my quartet line-up. Playing a concert on a Sunday morning at 11 am is not necessarily the easiest job, but magic moments have happened in front of a sold-out house and a highly concentrated atmosphere.
Three days ago I was invited to Neumünster for a solo concert. This place has become more than familiar to me. It was the fourth time that I had been invited, but for the first time I gave a complete solo concert with 2 sets. I love these solo trips, even though they are physically the most demanding of all my projects. Again, there were fantastic conversations and special emotions after the concert. And at the end of the evening, there was a nice hang at the pool table in the hotel.
