The numbers are in! We asked you to #DoSomething4CC for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and you did. We're overwhelmed by everything you did to help kids and families impacted by childhood cancer.

You grew awareness, built community, and raised funds for childhood cancer research and support programs — from coast to coast.

Through actions big and small, together you made a BIG impact during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month:

  • Over $422,000 raised for research and programs

  • Over 2,000 people donated

  • 2,828 #Hero4Kids awareness bracelets worn

  • 193 Survivor Scholarships awarded

  • 649 Amazing Adventures taken

  • 66 EmPower Packs sent to newly diagnosed families

Here's just a small sample of the remarkable things our community did:

  • Cornwall, Ontario painted the town gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

  • 200 families went on an Amazing Adventure to see the Blue Jays play ball

  • Saskatoon's 400-strong Small but Mighty Gold Walk raised awareness and honoured kids diagnosed with cancer, raising over $23,000 for research(read our profile of the organizers here)

  • Procom raised over $5,500 by holding a fun fair at work

  • Clays4Kids raised over $112,000 for research and programs

  • Ulterra donated $25,000 as part of their September Awareness Campaign

  • 830 monthly donors continued to provide stable funding to ensure support for families and research year after year

  • $106,000 donated to The 100% Fund for research into rare and hard to treat childhood cancers

  • Over $4,000 raised in honour of what would have been Bradley's 30th birthday

  • The PenEquity Golf Tournament raised $20,000

  • The Blenheim Blades hockey team held a Childhood Cancer Awareness Night and fundraiser

  • Supporters across the country participated in the Princess and Superhero challenge

  • For his 2nd birthday, Sid and his family raised $2,500

  • Teen designer Ava held a fashion show and raised almost $6,000
