Response to Announcement from Strada Communication, Inc.

We were sorry to learn earlier this month about the closure of Strada Communication, Inc., one of the larger disability services companies that offered speech-to-text services. We recognize that this developing situation has the potential to impact many different stakeholders, and we extend our support to the larger community of service providers, clients, and coordinators, and agencies affected by these changes.

If you are impacted by this situation, please remember that ATSP maintains a directory of service providers who may be looking for work, as well as organizations who may be looking to hire qualified and experienced service providers. To be listed on the directory, individuals and organizations must register as members of ATSP; however, the directory is open to the public for viewing, and we encourage all service providers and service coordinators to take advantage of this free resource.
