Morales Memo

Dear friends,

Together we continue to make a difference in the lives of so many people in Panama and throughout Latin America. Thank you so much! Here are some exciting and recent updates.

Bible Schools

Students of the new Mission Bible School are advancing in their studies, as they continue to be trained and mentored for future missions from Panama to the nations. The first group of students have completed their coursework and will be graduating this week from the Youth Bible School we launched two years ago. A large group of students of the Ngöbe Indigenous Bible School we launched in 2015 completed their third year of studies. Hundreds of students throughout the country are responding to the call and are being trained for effective ministry.

Latin America Resource & Training Center

During 2017, we have had the privilege of coordinating and teaching in 12 Bible School teacher training seminars in seven countries in Latin America. About 1,200 teachers and leaders in total attended these seminars. This is all part of the International Certification Program for Professors and Administrative Personnel (PROCEPA) that we direct, with about 6,200 participants from 24 countries. Most of the participants are volunteer pastors that give of their time and are committed to training a new generation of ministry leaders in their respective countries. Thousands of teachers are being equipped to train ministers and future leaders that will pass on ministry to others for generations to come (2 Timothy 2:2).

Itineration 2018-2019

We are rapidly approaching the end of our second missionary term. We head back to the U.S. to start itineration in June 2018. We are so thankful for the amazing journey of the past ten years. We are humbled by the opportunities God has given us to serve so many people. Please pray for our family during this time of change – leaving ministry in trusted hands and adjusting to life in the U.S. for a season.

We are excited about what is happening on the mission field and want to share this with you and your congregation.
