On the occasion of Canada’s sesquicentennial the Armenian National Committee of Canada (ANCC), the Holodomor Research and Education Consortium (HREC), and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress are organizing a one-day symposium titled “Our Canada; Perspectives on Canada’s past, present and future role in Human Rights and Multiculturalism”. The conference is endorsed by the Center for Israeli and Jewish Affairs (CIJA, the Canadian Hellenic Congress (CHC) and the Humura Association. 
 
The conference will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at the Armenian Community Centers in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. 
 
The objective of the conference is to show our collective responsibility to a shared history and present a strong position paper to the Government of Canada, outlining the findings of the conference. The entire conference will be livestreamed (link to be released days before the conference).
