Thankful
We are incredibly thankful.
Thankful for three healthy, travel-ready girls who are excited to sleep in their new room "maybe for forever" (according to Paisley), and a new apartment full of boxes and half-assembled IKEA furniture. Thankful for colleagues who opened their home for us this past month so we didn't have to continue living in a hotel while we waited for our things to arrive, and for friends who invited us over for meals when we couldn't cook. Thankful for kind-hearted Donna and the helpful movers who made our move just a little bit nicer.
Thankful for meetings and plans that jumpstart a new season for our family. Thankful for Christmas trees, a bin full of decorations, and carols that bring us closer to our Savior. Thankful for friends who came from Tennessee with a bed for Paisley, along with encouragement and lots of laughs. Thankful for family at Thanksgiving, for our new apartment, and for a back window that overlooks a construction site with endless hours of entertainment for our children.
Thankful for a playground within walking distance of our front door, just like we used to have. For GPS as we navigate around our new town, for a car that drives well, for library story times and for the exciting opportunities to meet new friends, especially ones who have yet to meet Jesus. Thankful for the opportunity to continue to follow God's plans for us, for the adventure of learning radical obedience and for reminders of God's faithfulness.
And thankful for YOU. For your prayers and support over this past month. You are our heroes.
With gratitude,
Dan & Alicia (Paisley, Piper, and Ana!)
