Luke Buescher Uganda

Dear Friends and Family,
I pray this letter finds you abiding in the love and joy of our Savior.

Nov 17th marked the end of my training at New Hope Uganda. I graduated the class with 21 other students. I'm very thankful for the relationships, and knowledge that God has given me over the last 5 months. I drove up to Gulu on Nov 19th and have been working on getting familiar with the city here; driving around finding markets, grocery stores, the church site, and the clinic site.

The climate up here in the Northen part of the country is much dryer, which brings a bit of relief from the muggy humidity, and a blessing for my Colorado soul. The town of Gulu is nicely laid out, and the infrastructure seems to be moving along, with much wider roads, and a lot of new pavement being laid. The people here are generally very enjoyable, and welcoming. All things considered, It's wonderful to finally be where God is calling me and starting to understand what life will look like here on the day to day basis.
My class at New Hope Uganda on Graduation day
The grain storage facility being build up here in Gulu as a part of the business enterprising side of Terebinth Ministries. The grain storage will allow us to offset costs for the rest of the Ministry buy selling grains durring the off season while prices are higher in the market. This also allows for patients at the clinic who are unable to pay with cash pay for their medical bills with grain.
Please keep me in your prayers these next few weeks as I'll be having my first taste of what the study process looks like here at Terebinth Ministries. Monday-Friday Matt and I will be studying through 1 and 2 Chronicles with Kent, Then in December the current class of pastors will meet to study through it.

health wise I have been feeling better, thank you all for the prayers. God bless! Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!
