Unrestricted donations matched through December 31st

Seven generous donors have stepped forward to provide matching funds for our end-of-year giving campaign. That will allow Pura Vida to welcome new scholarship students into the program—and enable you to increase the impact of your unrestricted giving through a dollar-for-dollar match. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 in unrestricted gifts by December 31st. With matching funds, this can raise $30,000 for Pura Vida programs. Your donation helps us cover costs while we match students with long-term sponsors. It also helps us increase the effectiveness of all of our programs.

Give an Alternative Gift for Christmas

Make a tax-deductible contribution of $20 or more and we will send you a high-quality gift card which you can send to a friend or relative, telling them that a donation has been made in their name. Funds received will be applied either to the Christmas Milk Program or our Unsponsored Student Fund, depending on the card you select.

The new Christmas Milk card features "Poinsettias" by Guatemalan artist and Pura Vida student Patricia Tecun. We are also offering a more traditional milk card, as well as a separate card for the Unsponsored Student Fund, featuring Magali, who was helped by this fund before she was sponsored.
