Thankful for many blessings

Thanksgiving is a time to spend with friends and family, and to be reminded about how much we have been blessed.  Karen and I are very thankful this year.  It does not mean that we haven't had hardships, difficulties and disappointments.  We have had our share of those, as I am sure you have as well.  However, those are overshadowed by what we have been given, and the opportunities that lay before us.  When we focus on our blessings and fill our hearts with thankfulness, it allows us to feel happiness and contentment.  I think that is a goal worth pursuing!

I hope that this feeling of thankfulness and gratitude is not just a one-day experience, but that it reinforces that feeling going forward and into the new year.  Make sure to spread it around to your friends and neighbors.
