'Tis the Season
(Fundraising season that is!)
Tuesday, November 28th kicks off the major fundraising season for us here at UpaDowna! Starting with #GivingTuesday, we're a part of many different programs that will help us raise money. Here's a list of the events and fundraisers you can get involved in to help us fund our 2018 programs!
- #GivingTuesday Facebook Campaign: Donate here starting at 8am, Tuesday, Nov., 28th to give UpaDowna the chance to have donations MATCHED that day!
- #GivingTuesday Benefit Night @ Goat Patch Brewing 2727 N. Cascade Ave: From 5-9pm, swing by Goat Patch's "Bleating Heart" night and $1/beer will go back to UpaDowna! We'll have our handmade Christmas ornaments for sale as well be taking orders for our handmade Holiday Bike Wheel Wreaths! Order yours here before they are all gone!
- Yoga & Brews Donation Nights: Thanks to Melanie from Yoga & Brews, she'll be donating a portion of her proceeds from the Goat Patch Yoga nights to our organization! The first class is Thur., Nov., 30th at 5:45pm inside the Goat Patch brewery in Lincoln Center!
- Newman's Own Foundation $500k Holiday Challenge: A Crowdrise fundraiser that donates money for challenges won by nonprofits through the campaign (Nov. 21-Jan 3). The organization that raises the most online during the Challenge wins $150,000, with prizes for the next 9 nonprofits as well!
- Colorado Gives Day, Tuesday, Dec, 5th
 : Schedule a donation today for the BIG day, or, set up reoccurring donations! CO Gives day features a $1 million Incentive Fund in which every nonprofit receiving a donation on Colorado Gives Day will receive a portion of the fund, increasing the value of every dollar donated!

 Ugly Christmas Sweater Party & Silent Auction: Taking place Tue., Dec., 19th from 6-9pm at Plaza of the Rockies, this party will have a silent auction fundraiser as well as an Ugly Sweater competition, food, beer, and more! RSVP here!

- Tue., Nov., 28th, 5:30-7:30pm: Bleating Heart Night at Goat Patch Brewing 2727 N. Cascade Ave- Join us as we launch our end-of-the-year fundraising efforts with this awesome "Bleating Heart" Benefit Night at Goat Patch Brewing Company! Please join us for a pint and help raise money for our programs!
DEC
- Sat. Dec. 2nd, 12-4pm: Global Fat Bike Day- Ride with us to celebrate Global Fat Bike Day! We'll start at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, head to Red Rocks Open Space, then stop off at the new Trails End Taproom before heading back to the Buffalo for happy Hour!
- Tue. Dec. 5th- Colorado Gives Day- Our big end of the year fundraiser! Donate that day to help us secure a percent of a $1 mil grant, or...schedule a donation today for the 5th so you don't forget! Support us here.
- Tue. Dec. 12th, 6-8pm: Climb Night @ CityROCK- An Intro to CityROCK and indoor climbing! All equipment, instruction, food & beverage available for a donation! Spaces limited, sign up today! CityROCK, 21 N. Nevada Ave.
- Sat. Dec. 16th, 10am-12pm: 3rd Saturday Adventure- TBD. Stay up to date with our monthly hikes here.
- Tue. Dec. 19th, 6-9pm- Ugly Christmas Sweater Party & Silent Auction- Ugly sweater contest, silent auction with numerous outdoor items, beer from Montucky Cold Snacks, hors d'oeuvres, kids nature ornament making, music, and more! RSVP here!
- Jan. 25th-28th- Outdoor Retailer Show in Denver, CO! This is the first year of a 5 year contract for this expo to be held in Denver. UpaDowna will have a booth there so be sure to stop by if you are attending! The public is allowed to attend the Fashion Show on Day 2 of the show, Fri. Jan., 27th! More info here!
