Pearler of a Weekend
Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December

There is an OC1/2 & V1 race on Saturday and a fun mixed changes race on Sunday.

We would like to enter 1 or 2 crews. While it's fun, it's still for members who have been training regularly and those going to Sydney.

If you are keen to race, please express your interest in the sign up book by this Sunday. Crews will be announced on Monday 4 December and crews will be registered on Wednesday 6 December.

Redcliffe V12 Race
Saturday 16 December

Please click here for the race program. We would like to enter a womens V12 race (8km) and a mixed V12 race (6km). These races will be followed by a few 250m sprints.

For those new to the sport, a V12 is 2 x OC6 canoes tied together with flat iako's to make a double hull.

Please express your interest in the sign up book in the shed by Sunday 10th December. Crews will be announced on Monday 11 December for registration on the same day.

Christmas Party
Saturday 16 December, 6pm @ the Clubhouse

It's that time of year again! Please accept or decline the Teamer invite to let us know if you are coming to our Christmas Party so we can organise numbers for catering.

We have booked Senor Paella to look after us @ $21 per head. There will be a meat dish and a seafood dish.

The party is the same day as ROCC the SOCC and Christmas carols at Kings Beach. On the plus side, a party will be a fun way to end a race day and we can enjoy the Kings Beach fireworks from Golden Beach!

BYO drinks and Christmas cheer.

Mega Raffle: Tickets for our Mega Raffle have been printed and are ready to hand out to members. Everyone will be asked to sell tickets at $2 each or just purchase them all for yourself to be in the draw! Our fund raising goal is $4000 to put towards the purchase of a new OC6. We are hoping everyone can sell 25-30 tickets each.

The winners will be drawn at our Christmas Party. Please transfer the fundraising money to the club account with your name and "Mega Raffle" as the reference. Club account is:

Junior Fundraising: Two of our juniors, Callum and Claire, will be representing Australia in Tahiti next year. Troy has organised a money board with 100 numbers, selling at $20 each. Once all the tickets are sold, one lucky number will be selected and the winner will receive $1000 and our juniors will get $1000 for their trip.
