New! Workplace Inspection Form
As some of you may have noticed there is a new Workplace Inpection form in SafetyNet. To use the new form click on the inspection icon in SafetyNet.
This form allows you to enter in all of your corrective actions from your workplace inspections in the one place.
The benefit of entering in your corrective actions in SafetyNet is that it will allow you to keep track of all the actions to ensure that they are being closed off.

WHS Audits
The WHS unit has begun it's first round of audits using the the new auditing tool which focuses on looking at major hazards and risks across the University. To view the audit schedule click on button below.
Key recommendations from the Emergency Management audit that areas need to focus on include
- Ensuring that all emergency plans are communicated to all staff, students, visitors and contractors.
- Ensuring specific emergency plans have been developed relating to emergencies specific to their areas (for example responding to gas alarms).
- Ensuring emergency equipment such as emergency eye wash and showers and duress alarms areas are being checked on a regular basis.
