Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him; bless His name.

-Psalm 100:4

FARADJINA is our little bundle of joy. She is a caring girl that takes her role as big sister to her little brother Kervens very seriously. She and her brother love to save their lollipops for each other and always greet each other with big hugs and kisses. Faradjina not only takes good care of her brother, she loves to help around the house, cleaning and organizing. Whether it is helping or playing, you can often hear her laughing and singing around the Girls’ Home. Faradjina also loves to express herself with gymnastics and dance. She is a smart little cookie, who excels at her schoolwork and is always at the top of her class. Please pray that her energy and joy are always full force for the kingdom of God.

Faradjina is only at 78% of her needed monthly support. It is urgent that each child is 100% sponsored!  Will you help?  Now is the time to sponsor a child in need.  We hope to hear from you soon!

Family Again

Schneider is a Child Hope graduate and current employee.  He recently shared his family story with us.

When he was a child, Schneider lived with his mom, grandma, and sisters.  One day, his dad came and took him away from the rest of his family.  Schneider lived with his dad for 6 years, but didn’t like the way his dad treated him, so he decided to run away.

Shortly after finding himself all alone, he met a boy who became like a brother to him.  The boy said he thought they should go live at an orphanage because it would be safer than being on their own, so they did.  Unfortunately, that was not a safe situation either.  The Haitian government shut down that orphanage for ill treatment of the children, and it was that time that Schneider was brought to Child Hope International.

Schneider said he wanted to reconnect with his family, but it was not until 2010, when he graduated from Child Hope, that he really began looking for them.  “Cuz home still home, family still family.  I wish I get to know them more, especially mom and all my sisters,” he explained.  With the help of a friend, he was able to find his sister, who then helped him find his mom.  He says that now he has a good relationship with his sisters and mom, and is even working on his relationship with his dad.  He knows he has at least 2 brothers he has never met, but he hopes to soon.

Our desire is that through our Family Hope program, we will come to know more beautiful stories of family reconciliation like Schneider’s.

Praise Report/Prayer Requests

  • STAFF AND CHILDREN | We covet your prayers for the health of the children, and want to ask that you also keep our staff's health in your prayers, too!  They are caring for the children around the clock, and are such an important part of the ministry.
  • SCHOOL | We recently received report cards for the kids.  While many did well, there is a lot of room for improvement.  Please pray that the children would take their studies seriously and work hard in class.
  • ANNUAL PLANNING MEETING | Our leadership staff in Haiti will be having meetings in January to plan for 2018.  This covers topics like children's needs, staffing needs, events & outings -- you name it.  Keep Spencer, Risa, Christina, Joel & Francesca in your prayers as they work on the operations plan.
