Dear <<First Name>>

Sacrament of Confession
As we approach the birth of our savior, let us diligently prepare our body and soul to receive Him. If you have not done so already, please make time to come to confession to receive Christ's healing grace during the nativity fast.

1. St. John’s Rummage Sale is going on now!
It’s not too late to help! Today from 2-6pm and tomorrow from 8:30am-12:00 the sale will be happening. We will also need helpers at noon to take leftover goods to Goodwill. Please see this link to be involved with this fundraising event: Please click image above or here,http://signup.com/go/TjAmOfV,  to put your name on a slot to help.

2. St. Nicholas is coming to Church this Sunday 12-3-16 after Liturgy! :-)
In honor of St. Nicholas's visit we are asking that all families bring at least one non- perishable food item to church so we can fill our St. Mary's Food Bank box and help the needy.

Please also bring a wrapped gift with child's name ($10 or so) for your child to be placed under the tree and to be delivered by St. Nicholas.

Lastly, we need to decorate the trees for St. Nicholas so this will take place Saturday 12-2-16 at 4pm (before Great Vespers) everyone is welcome to come help decorate.

News & Announcements:
1. Our "2018 Annual Meeting" will take place Sunday, January 21st, 2018.

To help Parish Council prepare the Annual Budget we are requesting that  EVERYONE make a Pledge via Realm (online or via app) for 2018 by this Sunday DECEMBER 3rd 2017
Our hope is that we will have 100% of all our members pledging for 2018.
Your continued support is vital as we transition from the OCA Mission Grant.

The "Pledge" is just the amount that you plan to give for 2018, and then in January of 2018 you can start giving towards your "Pledge" via Realm (online or through the app). To Learn how to give click here

2. Maggie's Place Gifts
Thank you to all of you who have adopted a family from Maggie’s Place to provide gifts for Nativity.
