Tip of the week
Set aside 5 minutes every morning to jot down 1 thing you feel grateful for that day. Robert Emmons and Michael McCullough, co-directors of the Research Project on Gratitude and Thankfulness, found that teaching college students to “count their blessings” and cultivate gratitude caused them to exercise more, be more optimistic, and feel better about their lives overall. Learn more about their research.
Look clever at a cocktail party

The Hidden Power of a Gift - by Seth Godin
"When done properly, gifts work like nothing else. A gift gladly accepted changes everything. The imbalance creates motion, motion that pushes us to a new equilibrium, motion that creates connection."
Product of the week
Kiva.org gift cards
Give the gift of giving. Kiva is an international nonprofit with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. When you give a Kiva gift card, you give someone else the chance to make a loan to a borrower who inspires them. When that loan is repaid, they can lend those funds again and again to make an even bigger difference. It's truly the gift that keeps on giving!
