Dear Friends;

I'm excited once again to present my mentor, my hero and friend - the great Kirk Lightsey at Smalls and Mezzrow.  Kirk will be playing at Smalls on Tuesday night with his group featuring Ed Cherry on guitar, Santi DeBriano on bass, Ali Ryerson on flute and Ronnie Burrage on drums (CLICK FOR INFO).  On Thursday Kirk will be playing at Mezzrow also with guitarist Saul Rubin and Santi DeBriano once again.  You should definitely make a reservation for that one - (CLICK HERE)

I am also excited to present a joint sponsored concert with The Walker Hotel here in Greenwich Village (located at #52 West 13th Street, across the street from The New School) in their Society Cafe.  This is the final show of a three concert run and features Kirk Lightsey in concert with the amazing Joan Belgrave.  This is a dinner/concert package and makes for a lovely evening of great food and jazz.  If you are interested please CLICK HERE.

As always - some great music at both clubs.  I wish everyone peaceful tidings and calm, deep breaths as we navigate these troubling times.  Music is the key and remember that Love and Compassion are always the answer.  Fight aggression with love.

Prominent classical pianist David Oei is the musical curator for this monthly classical salon featuring top chamber music players for an excellent afternoon of classical music in Mezzrow's music room.
