Pretty good tepanyaki at Daikoku in Suva, Fiji.

Japanese food in Suva, and Qantas at Heathrow

Well, I have just spent the weekend away in beautiful downtown Whale Beach, New South Wales. No flights involved, just a restful weekend of catching up with friends, playing with children, and watching surfers and swimmers at the beach.

Last week, we covered the launch of the new Qantas lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3, Lufthansa's cabins for the A350, Bali airport volcano delays, and Virgin's WiFi on international flights.

If you missed them, catch up below.

This coming week, more on my trip to Fiji, a weekend break in Whale Beach, and whatever the world of aviation and forward cabin travel brings us.

We always enjoy your comments, so dive in and give us your thoughts on the website, or on Facebook.

Happy Travels,

It’s been about 12 months in the making says Qantas (Does it […]

Well they are getting this story out well ahead of time. Lufthansa ordered – way back in 2013 about 20 brand new Boeing 777-9X, which are not set to start delivery until 2020. Perhaps oddly – or for reasons that are not obvious to me – they have come out with a PR emetic of […]
