It wasn’t glittery nor golden, it wasn’t even in colour! The bookmark which got the most votes during the bookfair was Connie’s and it was announced during a special assembly last Thursday, when Connie received a certificate and special award from the FSPA. She also gave a copy of her bookmark as a gift to each student in the school - you might have spotted it between the pages of a book already! The black and white illustration comes with a simple message - Live and Learn!

The FSPA are organising the parent potluck buffet for the primary Christmas Concert again this year. Please sign up on this document detailing what you can bring. Dishes can be dropped off in the atrium from 2:30-3:30pm and consumed between the two concerts! Poster here.

PS-CM2:  please check this document to see the dress code for your child’s class for the Christmas concert next Wednesday 13th December, to make sure your child is coordinated with the rest of their class.

Despite all of our efforts to contain the spread of the enterovirus in the MS class (thank you to the members of the team who stayed behind after school to disinfect the rooms) the nurse informed us this morning that newly diagnosed cases over the weekend means that we have to close both MS classes for one week, in keeping with Taiwanese law.

MS classes will resume as normal on Monday 11th December at 8:00am

MS-CM2 parents 11am: deadline to book an appointment to meet with CLC teachers on Thursday 7th or Tuesday 12th December.

CM2 & 6ème: 6ème students will spend the morning with the CM2 class working on a literature project.

MS-CM2 Parents: CLC staff will hold interviews for 10 minute slots for those who booked on TESmile.

The French Section is organising a careers forum in collaboration with Mr Laurent Proutière (President of French Trade Advisors in Taiwan) and Mr Stéphane Peden (Director of the French Chamber of Commerce in Taipei). The forum will take place on Tuesday 12th December from 9:30 to 12:30pm at ESC and will be open to all French Section seondary students.
