Should you require medical attention that cannot wait until normal surgery hours then please call 111. In a life-threatening emergency always call 999 without delay.
Electronic Prescriptions
If you get regular prescriptions, the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) may be for you. EPS makes it possible for your prescriptions to be sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. Choosing a pharmacy or dispensing appliance contractor to process your EPS prescription is called nomination and all of our local pharmacies will happily discuss nomination with you. Local pharmacies also offer free delivery services to our patients.
Flu Vaccination
If you are in an at-risk group or aged 65+ then we still have a small supply of flu vaccine available.

Feeling Under the Weather?
There's a new North East website designed to provide clear advice on managing common ailments as well as local information on pharmacy opening times for example.
The winter months bring with them an increase in minor illness that can be safely and effectively managed at home. The "When will I feel better?" leaflet comes highly recommended by our GPs and is easy to print at home. We also have copies available at reception.
If you have a child under the age of 5 you may also be interested in an App specifically for them. The App gives easy to understand guidance on childhood illnesses, recognising when your child is unwell, and advice on when and where to seek further treatment.

Congratulations to Dr Lucy Prince who will complete her GP Registrar training in December but will remain with us during December and January as a locum GP.
