The California carbon allowances (CCA) prices experienced frequent price changes throughout the week.  CCA prices saw a 2-cent gain at the start of the week and continued a steady increase until a 1 cent drop as the week ended. 2016 California covered emissions report
Summary: California Air Resources Board (ARB) recently released reported and verified greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data for Californian entities in the year 2016.The 2016 emissions report indicates an unprecedented decrease in overall emissions by Californian entities. The emissions covered under CP1 registered a decline of 13.04% when compared to last year. Combined CP1 and CP2 covered emissions registered a fall of 4.78% between 2015 and 2016.
