Dear friends,

Wishing all a merry and blessed Christmas season and a safe and happy new year. The AOY is looking forward to a big 2018 Year of Youth and hope you can join us on that journey. Please note that there is no Six30 Holy Hour tonight (7th Dec) due to the Youth Festival, however we will see you all on the 14th at our final Six30 and that our offices will close over the Christmas period from Friday 22 December until Monday 8 January 2018.

PS: The Pope's prayer intentions this month is for The Elderly
We invite you to join us for our final Six30 Holy Hour for 2017 on Thursday 14 December at St Patrick's Cathedral. Following Holy Hour, our annual Christmas Party will be held in the Cathedral carpark.

Adoration returns in 2018
As we look to celebrate our final Six30 Holy Hour for 2017, it's just a short break before Holy Hour roars back into gear in 2018! Get ready to join us in 2018 on Thursday 1 February at St Patrick's Cathedral as we kick off another prayerful year!

Capuchin Advent Pilgrimage (10 Dec)
On the second Sunday of Advent (Sunday 10 December) join young people from around Melbourne for the second annual Capuchin Advent Pilgrimage, from Sts Peter & Paul's, South Melbourne to St Anthony's Shrine, Hawthorn. Details HERE.

24 Hour Christmas Adoration (15 Dec)
In the lead up to the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, there will be a 24 hour Adoration service taking place at Saint Charbel's Monastery. Details HERE.

The Christmas Carols & Twilight Market (17 Dec)
Held in the grounds of the church, groups from around Melbourne will lead the Carols, and there will be markets stalls and food available throughout the evening. Don't miss this wonderful event as we prepare for Christmas! Details HERE

“A Light in the Darkness” (19 Dec)
In this evening of talk and prayer, Jim McDermott, SJ offers participants a chance to take a break from the busyness and rest in the gentle invitation of Advent. Details HERE.

Immaculata Summer School (Tasmania) 1-10 Jan
Spend the first ten days of the New Year with us in faith, prayer and fellowship - to know God, to love God and to make God known! Details HERE

Summer School 18: The Light of the World (7-14 Jan 2018)
Join other young people aged 16-35 for a powerful week of teaching, live music, sacraments, prayer, praise and guest speakers in the context of a fun and vibrant community away from the noise and distraction of the city. Details HERE

Campion College Summer Program (8-12 Jan)
The Campion College Summer Program gives interested students the opportunity to live college life at Campion for a few days and nights before making any long term tertiary decisions. Details HERE.

Adore Conference (18 - 21 Jan)
Adore is a Eucharistic Youth Conference aimed at bringing young Catholics to encounter with Christ in the Eucharist and His Mother through Marian prayer, especially the Rosary. The conference will include daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction, Confession, as well as plenty of exciting talks, games, presentations, and workshops.Details HERE.
