Come and join The Regals as we kick off the program of "Carols By The Sea' this Saturday 2nd December 2017.
Bayside Council will be holding their annual event once again at Lady Robinson's Beach, and The Regals Musical Society will be the first performers on stage, starting at 6pm.
So get there early, claim your spot on the sand for the best seats in the house, to watch the best performers begin the evening!
The Regals will be represented by various bright young singers who have performed sensationally in some of our most popular shows recently, including 'Hairspray' and 'Catch Me If You Can', and some of whom will be auditioning for our next show 'Aladdin Jnr'.
Performances also from Bayside City Church Singers, St Gabriel's Primary School Bexley, Cadenza Quartet, St Mark's Anglican Church Choir, Rockdale Opera Company, Cassidy-Rae, G4 Guitar School Rockdale and more.
Much loved actor and children’s entertainer Jay Laga’aia is host to this FREE community event on the beach.
Join us for lots of carol singing, and Santa will make an appearance.
For more information please call 1300 581 299 - Bayside Council.
Then join our group of Regals members as we go Christmas Caroling at two local aged care residences.
We'll continue our annual Christmas tradition of singing Christmas carols to the aged care residents and spreading a little Christmas cheer.
Friday 22nd December 2017
Long-standing Regals members, Brian and Dianne McGann will be organising their annual Christmas Caroling again this year for members of The Regals Musical Society and anyone who would like to join them at two local aged care residences.
Brian and Dianne write;
"Time comes around quickly. It’s “spread some joy” time again.
We would love to build on last year’s choir (as great as they were!) with some new (or returning) faces.
As we have done for many, many, many years now we will be singing at two aged care residences. We will be singing around 11 carols or Christmas songs at each residence (carol lyric sheets will be provided).
If you wish to travel in a convoy, please meet at our place (see address below)
at6.15pm at the latest.
You can leave your share plate and liquid refreshments there to stay fresh until we return at around 8pm.
