Free breakfast for attendees who register by end of day, Dec 5th

La Vernia Chamber of Commerce Hall
12301 W US Hwy 87
La Vernia, TX 78121

Although the upcoming program will place emphasis on the Mid and Lower Cibolo Creek Watershed, I felt it was appropriate to let you know about this valuable half-day program, due to the close proximity to the Geronimo and Alligator Creeks Watershed.

The Texas Watershed Steward program is a free educational workshop designed to help watershed residents improve and protect their water resources by getting involved in local watershed protection and management activities.

The workshop will provide an overview of water quality and watershed management in Texas, including a discussion on the Mid and Lower Cibolo Creek watershed along with efforts by the San Antonio River Authority (SARA), Texas Water Resources Institute, and local citizens to improve and protect it. Free breakfast sponsored by SARA. Free continuing education credits are offered for a wide variety of professional disciplines ranging from licensed Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide applicators to select TCEQ occupational license holders. For a complete list of CEUs offered, or to register, visit the website or call the number below.
