‘From Inside the Farm Gate: Rural Women’s Stories of Thriving and Surviving’
Victorian rural farming women are invited to participate in a digital storytelling workshop to tell their personal story of managing tough times. These often ‘invisible farmers’ will be empowered to work together to validate their experience and create personal stories in a safe, trusted, peer supported environment - facilitating emotional expression without judgment, building self-confidence, a sense of achievement and encouraging positive social contact.

The 3-day workshop is FREE to participating women (valued at $2500 per person). More information and an Expression of Interest form can be found

The farming environment contains many hazards for farmers and employees, such as working with agrichemicals, exposing ears to loud noise, eyes to flying particles and breathing in  organic and inorganic dusts and vapours. Such hazards on farms can’t always be controlled, so seeking safer control measures may require the addition of personal protective equipment - PPE.

Check what PPE is on your farm and consider giving a gift to improve the safety of your loved ones this Christmas.

A well-stocked first aid kit might be just what Santa needs to bring to your home/farm/vehicle this festive season!
