Thank you for a great year
The Smith Family's CEO Dr. Lisa O'Brien and some students have recorded this video to share how much your support means means to them. We were reminded at a recent Work Inspiration workshop hosted by Kain Lawyers that these programs really do work. In the post-workshop survey, all the students said they'd recommend the workshop to their peers "because they want them to have a good future" and two students said it changed their minds about staying in school.

2017 Northern Opportunities Report
This report, prepared by our partner Youth Opportunities, captures the positive impact the first round of this new scholarship program is having for the 5 students who received our scholarships. In the words of one of the students "it's proof that I am succeeding in my life and gives me belief that I can go further in the future".

Welcome back KWP!
We're excited to welcome back the team from KWP! Advertising into our network of corporate partners. KWP! volunteers took part in our Uganda project from 2013-2015, and their team provided valuable pro-bono design and video services through 2016. They're back on board this year to support our Northern Opportunities initiative - it will be great to connect students to this award-winning agency.
