Big Day Off Sale 2018. Diary February 26, 2018
Since 2004 we've kick started the New Year with our Annual Big Day Off Sale.
Next year we've made a slight change to the timing and it'll be held in the week commencing February 26th. We're keen to move a lot of stock. The sale will mostly be held on line though soundfondue.com and TradeMe so keep your eyes open for a bargain.

Rycote Announces New Pricing
2018 will likely bring a rash of price rises, Rycote is raising its prices in the New Year. Coupled with the drop in value of the NZ$ against the GBP since published we our price list in November means Rycote prices are likely to rise in the New Year.
The NZD has lost value against all major currencies in recent months so prepare for price rises as new stock is ordered.

Rent a piece of equipment and buy your own within 2 weeks of the rental. Sound Techniques will rebate 1 week's rental towards the cost of the same equipment.
...How can I afford it?
Short of cash in the New Year then big job comes in and you need new gear? Would an installment plan work?
Sound Techniques can organise finance through a FlexiRent Operating Lease or Lease to Own plan over a 12-48 month period.
With an operating lease all payments are fully tax deductible and you can replace the gear after 3 years.
With Lease to Own you pay the GST as a deposit then monthly payments until the equipment is paid off.

Terms of trade
Sound Techniques terms of trade have been revised recently. The full version is available here Our principal terms of trade are:
1. All invoices are to be paid COD unless agreed in writing.
2. Claims arising from invoices must be made within 5 working days of invoice.
3. All goods remain the property of Sound Techniques Ltd until paid in full.
4. All overdue invoices bear interest at 20% per annum (or maximum allowed by law) on unpaid balance. There is also a $30 returned payment fee for any declined cheques/automatic withdrawals.
5. In the event of default of payment when due, all costs of collection, including legal fees and court costs, shall be paid by the debtor.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday we close at 17:00.
On Wednesday we close at 16:00, except for pickups, to allow us time for training.
