Atlanta Sport and Social Club hosted the Inaugural Atlanta Grilled Cheese Festival last month. The sold-out event featured local restaurants serving up their take on the classic grilled cheese (along with some creative variations), plus live local music, a beer garden, and a variety of tailgate games and competitions.
The 2018 event is moving to April 14th-15th in order to fall on the weekend after National Grilled Cheese Day (4/12), and will serve over 5,000 attendees. Xoso Sport and Social League's "Sacramento Grilled Cheese Festival," which was the inspiration for the Atlanta event, will fall on the same weekend.
