Startup Tip: A local law school may have an IP Clinic for your youngster's Intellectual Property protection needs.
Professor Cynthia Dahl of the Penn Law School leads the Detkin Intellectual Property and Technology Clinic. The clinic invites startups to apply for a free legal clinic. We can vouch for their outstanding service because AlligatorZone was one of the cases accepted by the clinic as a social enterprise, for its contracts, trademark and copyright protection services. Look for similar pro bono services at your nearby universities, especially if your youngsters are bootstrapping a passion project for school work that is showing the promise of turning into a real world startup company, or if you are in the early stages of your own startup journey.
